Intel: Mechanical Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

Optimized production, improved efficiency, and led initiatives for semiconductor fabrication.

At Intel, I designed new fixtures that allowed for optimal wafer quality and aided technicians in decreasing production timeline. Moreover, I drove the design of test jigs/experiments of fixtures to ensure cost and time efficiency, and overall efficacy. I also conducted user interviews (with technicians) to create ergonomic lifting fixtures for easier heavy lifting. For this project, I conducted research of lifting mechanics for a better design and manufacturability. I consistently communicated design requirements with manufacturers to implement fixtures on the factory floor, in Hillsboro, and across all of Intel’s fabrication plants.

Skills: GD&T, Design of Experiments, Spec Documentation
